Four Days of Tabletop Hobby Gaming Online

Our Virtual Convention Space is ONLINE! Try It Now!

No Physcial Game Library in 2020

Normally, we work with the Gamer's Haven Game Library to provide our board game library. But in the world of COVID-19 we are hosting the event online via Discord and Mozilla Hubs and that changes everything.

Through a special partnership with Tabletopia, we are able to provide all badge holders with a week of Tabletopia's Gold-level Membership! This allows us to essentially offer Tabletopia as our board game library!

What is Tabletopia? It's a digital platform for board games allowing folks to play popular board games with your friends online in an experience almost like gathering around a real table. Tabletopia is playable on PCs and tablets. Game creators and publishers can easily bring their games to the digital realm. And everyone can create and test their own board games in Tabletopia.

  • Over 1000 games to play for free
  • Play with friends or anyone in the world
  • Unlimited possibilities for Premium users

FREE During Midwest GameFest

Enjoy Tabletopia FREE during Midwest GameFest with the code provided with your badge. Watch for a message on Discord and via email with the code! Didn't get one? Ask a Discord mod for assistance or email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

VR Convention Space

Normally, we call Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center in Independence, Missouri our home (we are part of the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area). But in the world of COVID-19 we are hosting the event online via Discord (a free text, audio, and video service) and Mozilla Hubs (a free web-based VR platform). You don't need anything more than the cell phone, tablet, or the web browser you're using right now. The two systems work in concert with some things in Discord, and others in Hubs. There's nothing to download or hook up, but a mic and headset would be great. VR headsets are supported but not required.

Gamer's Haven Game Library

Gamer's Haven Game LibraryMidwest GameFest historically partners with the Gamer's Haven Game Library to bring you the hottest board games, established classics, and hard to find jewels. The GH game library contains board games and card games of all kinds, from your basic family games like "Monopoly" and "The Game of Life" to more advanced titles like "Starcraft: The Board Game" and "Arkham Horror."

There are tons and tons of games in the Gamer's Haven Game Library, as you may have seen if you attended Planet Comicon or KantCon in recent years. The library is very extensive, and it may not be possible to bring the entire library to the event. If you have requests, let us know and we'll try to make sure and have your favorite games on hand.

The Gamer's Haven Game Library is even available for your own special events outside of the convention setting: weddings, parties, corporate retreats, anywhere people gather. Visit the Gamer's Haven Game Library site for booking information.
