What makes your story drag? What is dead weight that can be pared, and what should take its place? Discover how to make your fiction fabulous! Laura E. Croston is the president of The Dead Horse Society, Kansas City's premiere speculative fiction writing group. She has a BA in English from UMKC, and an MA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University. She's worked in education and training for more than twenty years, and has been teaching English and delivering writing workshops since 2009.

Writing Speculative Fiction: An Introduction
